Tigers suffer first loss of the season in Ringwood
The Canton Tigers fell to 3-1 last Friday when they lost in Ringwood by a score of 44-28. The two teams swapped scores early but the Red Devils were able to take the lead right before halftime, and came out hot in the second half to hand Canton their first loss this year. It looked like the Tigers
It looked like the Tigers would take control of this one early when Luke Swartwood broke loose for a 42-yard touchdown scamper on the second play of the game. However, that play would come back for a penalty and Canton was unable to pick up a first down after that. On the ensuing drive,
On the ensuing drive, Ringwood marched 91 yards on 14 plays for the first score of the game, putting Canton in an early hole. Not only did it put the Tigers behind, but it also took a big chunk of the clock as Canton didn’t even get through their next series before the second quarter came.
