Thomas Allen Hood
The Angels called Thomas Allen Hood, lovingly known as Bub, home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2017. Bub was met at the gates of Heaven by his beloved sisters Doris Jo Hammon, JoAnn (Tiny) Hood and Mary Ann Hood and his beloved Mom and Dad, Tillie and Clyde Hood. Bub was born September 25, 1951 to Tillie Pearl Hood and Clyde Otis Hood in Fairview, Oklahoma. Bub joined the Army on December 2, 1969 and proudly served as an E-4 Specialist in the 23rd Engineer Battalion in the Medical Corp. He was honorably discharged from service on December 1, 1975. After Bub’s time in the Army, he returned home and worked in the oilfield until 2004 when his health no longer allowed him to. Bub loved Christmas, the Fourth of July, wrestling, old westerns, Rambo, Pepsi, cinnamon donuts and most of all his family. Bub is survived by five sisters, Leora and Joe Coles of Yukon, Oklahoma, Kay and Joe Jaramillo of Pueblo, Colorado, Glenda Gross and Linda Weatherton of Okeene, Oklahoma, Debra Jean Hood of Okeene, Oklahoma, Virginia Hood and Michelle Markowski of Okeene, Oklahoma; one brother, Clyde Hood of Canton, Oklahoma; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; Bub will be missed and loved always. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Monte Michaelson officiating. Military honors were rendered by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
