Sandy Price

January 18, 1947 – March 8, 2018

I was born on January 18, 1947 in Geary, OK to Lloyd Lee and Hazel Lucille Coble Hooten. I started school in Canton, OK but left my junior year to marry the dashing Marine, Ronnie Price (my words, not his) on December 9, 1963. I got my GED one year later. I lived a short time in San Clemente, CA with Ronnie but moved back to Canton, and I called it my home for most of my life. To our marriage, three children were born, Sheri Lynette, Susan Leighan, and (Ronald) Dean Jr. I was preceded in death by my parents, Hazel and Lloyd and my brothers, Ronald Lloyd Hooten and Roy Edgar (Eddie) Hooten. I am survived by my husband, Ronnie of Canton, daughters, Sheri King and husband Bryce of Weatherford, Susan Kenrick and husband Elvin of Canton, and son, Dean Price and wife, Deana, of Bartlesville; my sisters, Sharon Hooten Morris and husband, Bob, of Enid and Sheila Hooten Forney and husband, Jack, of Fay and my sister-in-law Sheila Price Harman and husband, James, of Fairview. My grandchildren are Lorna Brooke King of Stillwater, (Ronald) Barrett King of Weatherford, Patrick Eli Kenrick of Bartlesville, Abby Gale Kenrick Sparks and husband, Josh, of Hinton, and Sydney Paige Price and Taylor Kay Price, both of Bartlesville. I have three greatgrandchildren: Evie Ann Kenrick and Eli Joseph Kenrick of Wichita, KS and Hendrix (Hinny) Ray Sparks of Hinton. My nieces and nephews include Brian Robinett, Brad Robinett, Branda Robinett Stewart, T.J. Londagin, Miranda Londagin Cash, Susan Forney, J.W. Forney, Erica Hooten Bateson, Monica Hooten Toland, Nicole Hooten Bowman, B.J. Harman and Lance Swearengin, many greatnieces and nephews, family and friends and my fishing buddy, Corky Sutton. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Canton Christian Church with Pastor Glen Blood and Pastor Kraig Birchfield officiating. I will be interred at Cherryvale Cemetery in Canton, OK accompanied by the Traveling Donut. I am taking TD on the ultimate trip to heaven. Services are under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home in Canton and, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cookson Hills Ministry with the funeral serving as custodian at P.O.
