Canton girls 3rd, boys take 5th at Ringwood

Sariah Vargas paired with Blair Dowell to place a total of three times in the high jump this week, as Dowell finished second and Vargas placed third and sixth in their two meets this week.

Junior High track places seventh at Ringwood Meet

Last week’s rain wasn’t enough to keep the Canton Junior High track teams from competing in a pair of meets in Okeene and Ringwood. 

Jenny Delgado and Hanna Nobles both qualify for the finals in the 100-meter hurdles.

Track teams compete at Fairview, Covington-Douglas

The Canton track teams hit the road last week, as both the high school and fifth/ sixth-grade teams attended meets. The high school boys and girls competed in Fairview last

Shorthanded Tigers compete at Cherokee Meet

In the mile relay, the Tigers finished with a time of 4:21.05. In the shot put, Johnie Burton had Canton’s best toss of 33 feet, 10 inches.
