Tiger track teams prep for regional at Cherokee

With the Regional Meet approaching, the Canton High School track teams competed in their final event of the regular season in Cherokee last Tuesday. In a meet that was open to all classes, the Lady Tigers managed to capture fifteen points in a 10th-place effort, while the boys placed 11th with 12.50 points.

For the Lady Tigers, Taylor Dowell took fourth place in the high jump with a height of four feet, four inches.

In the 100-meter hurdles, both Jenny Delgado and Hanna Noble earned points. Delgado finished fourth with a time of 18.55, while Noble took sixth in 19.89. Delgado also placed fifth in the 300-meter hurdles of 57.35 seconds.
