Shorthanded Tigers compete at Cherokee Meet

In the mile relay, the Tigers finished with a time of 4:21.05.

In the shot put, Johnie Burton had Canton’s best toss of 33 feet, 10 inches. Seth Bromlow recorded Canton’s top effort in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.39 seconds.

Nate Bates and Andre Crawford both competed in the 200-meter dash. Bates finished with a time of 28.70 seconds, while Crawford wasn’t far behind with a time of 28.81. Crawford was one of three to compete in the 800-meter run where he finished with a time of 2:32.97. Martin also ran the event in 2:43.17, while Nate Janda finished in 3:05.84.

In the 400-meter run, Burton led all Tigers with a time of 1:05.98, while Bates ran it in 1:07.78 and Levi Shaw finished in 1:16.39.
