Mudslingers ousted in opening round of MAYB Tourney
The Canton ninth and tenth-grade basketball players traveled to Enid last weekend to compete as the Mudslingers in the Mid America Youth Basketball Tournament. Coached by Darren Scott, Hudson Scott, Cody Conrady, Luke Foster, Shy Cauble and William McIntosh all participated in the two-day event where they won one of their five games.
On Saturday, the Mudslingers competed in group play to determine their seed for the tournament. After dropping their opening contest to NWOK 10 by a score of 41-28, they took on the High Plains Storm.
