Junior High Tigers pound Timberlake while Pee Wee falls

Last Thursday, the Canton Tigers hosted Timberlake for a Pee Wee and Junior High football game on a chilly evening. While the fifth and sixth-graders lost by a score of 22-0, the junior high team put up a dominant performance in a 38-0 victory.

The Pee Wee team kicked off the night, and while Canton didn’t score any points, they did move the ball pretty well. Evan Burchett had the big night for the Tigers as he carried the ball 11 times for 64 yards.

Burchett also had three tackles to lead Canton, including one for a loss of yardage. Parker Webb also had two tackles with one being behind the line of scrimmage. He also carried the ball five times for 15 yards.
