The Lady Tigers took home the third-place hardware in Lomega’s Junior High Tournament last week. Canton had to defeat Cashion and Corn Bible Academy in the eightteam event, while only losing to Watonga.

JH Lady Tigers take third place in Lomega Tourney while Boys finish fourth
The Canton Junior High basketball teams competed in their first tournament of the season last week, as the traveled to Lomega High School to compete in the eight-team event. While the girls were able to win two of their three contests to capture the third-place title, the boys followed up an opening win with a pair of losses for fourth place.
The Lady Tigers kicked off the tournament on Monday with a 40-37 victory over the Cashion Lady Wildcats. Canton actually found themselves down at the half by four points to Cashion, but the second half was a different story.
