Canton youngsters open up football season dropping a pair of games to Seiling

The Canton Tigers’ Pee Wee and Junior High football teams kicked off their seasons last Tuesday with a pair of games against the Seiling Wildcats. Unfortunately, neither team was able to start the 2019 campaign on the right foot as the fifth and sixth graders fell by a score of 36-8, and the junior high squad lost 38-0.

Big plays were an issue in both games, and in the opening contest between the two younger teams, Canton gave up a touchdown on their first play from scrimmage. Still, the Tigers were eventually able to rally back with a big play of their own when Parker Webb busted loose for a 70-yard touchdown run.
