The Canton football teams joined in on the festivities of the 53rd Annual Walleye Rodeo by hosting a cornhole tournament to help raise money for the football program. A total of 14 teams took part in the competition in a doubleelimination style bracket to determine a winner.

Two-player teams put in their registration fee of $50 to participate in the competition that lasted just past 9 p.m. Each game was played to 21 as participants hurled four bags apiece to attempt to outscore their opponent in order to earn points.

In the end, the team of Mark Bitner and Chris Bunner of Enid won the competition, as well as the $150 prize that came along with it. The two went unbeaten through the first four rounds to earn a spot in the finale.
