The Canton Tigers are gearing up to tipoff the 2019-2020 basketball season with high expectations in mind. The Lady Tigers are coming off a 2018-2019 season in which they won 20 games, and came within a game of making a trip to the Area Round of the playoffs. Meanwhile, the boys won 15 games on their way to a district title, but also came up just a game short of moving on to the third round of the playoffs.

For the Lady Tigers, a lot is going to change for Coach David Baldwin moving forward. His top two scorers from last season’s team graduated in point guard Roxey Linder, and sharp-shooter Haylee Nusz. The two also joined fellow-senior Jenny Delgado as three of Baldwin’s top rebounders from last year, meaning a number of players are going to be stepping into more prominent roles.
