As the push for renewable energy continues in Oklahoma, wind energy received a big win recently as the Oklahoma Corporation Commission approves a settlement agreement allowing Public Service Company of Oklahoma (P SO) to recover costs to add 675 megawatts of wind power in Oklahoma.
Even with recent downturns in the Oil & Natural Gas Industry in Oklahoma, the people who make up the industry are a catalyst for the state’s economy, according to a new report completed by RegionTrack Inc. for the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB). The OERB, who provides free environmental restoration of historic well sites as well as extensive educational resources for Oklahoma educators, students and classrooms, released the report recently along with county data sheets.
