Farm Service Agency accepting county nominations soon

USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) will soon accepting nominations for county committee members. Elections will occur in certain Local Administrative Areas (LAA) for these members who make important decisions about how federal farm programs are administered locally. All nomination forms for the 2020 election must be postmarked or received in the local FSA office by Aug. 1, 2020.

Canton set to host 53rd Annual Walleye Rodeo this week

This week Canton Lake will be hosting the 53rd Annual Walleye Rodeo, Oklahoma’s oldest and largest fishing tournament. After originally being scheduled in May, the decision was made to postpone the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
