State Representative Mike Sanders visited with Blaine County Court Clerks Lora Waugh, Kristy Miller and Christy Matlie during activities associated with County Government Day at the Capitol. “I was so honored to have the Court Clerks from Blaine Country stop by. Christy and her team do an amazing job.” Sanders stated.
For the second time this school year, art teacher Patricia Morgan and her students produced a mural on the Canton campus to signify the school spirit the Canton Tigers embody. After refreshing the Tiger in the parking lot prior to football season, the kids painted an 18x8 Tiger on the wall just outside of the art room. The project took roughly a week with students working on the project during class and after school. Next up for Mrs. Morgan and her class will be a painting of the Oklahoma Symbol from the State Flag just outside the school library, with more projects being discussed.
