The Canton Tigers continue to have players like Seth Bromlow step up and make big plays on offense. Last week, against Geary, Bromlow was part of three of Canton’s 10 plays that went for double-digit yards. Canton will need those big plays to continue as they look to move to 3-0 for the first time since 2009. (Photo by Austin Smith)
Tigers roll over Geary to improve to 2-0
For the second-straight season, the Tigers have started off with a pair of wins. After a shutout victory over Okeene in week zero, Canton dominated the Bison by a score of 56-16 last Friday in Geary.
It was not an easy task, considering Coach Caleb Howell and the Tigers got news early last week that the school would be moving to virtual learning until further notice. However, Canton was given the green light for all extra-curricular activities to move forward as planned, including football.
From there, Canton traveled to Geary and proceeded to put up over 400 yards of total offense on the Bison, while limiting them to only two scores. Once again, senior Jake Sinclair was a big part of the Tigers’ offensive success.
