Life Tree Home Health now open in Canton
& Sitter/Companion Service held its grand opening Friday, Apr. 12 as they welcomed visitors to their Canton location with a meet and greet that included hotdogs and more.
Owner, operator and RN for the company, Lori White, explained that the CNAs and RNs who work for LTHHSCS tend for patients who need a little assistance within their homes. They help people stay independent longer by helping them bathe, clean, cook, take their medications properly and more. The group can also help patients with finger sticks as needed, and they can go into facilities like assisted living and nursing homes if the patient’s family feels the patient might not be getting the attention he or she needs from the staff at that facility. Additionally, the agency can simply sit with the patient, offering a form of companion service in doing so.
White has had her license from the state since October. LTHHSCS is insured, bonded, and licensed through the State Health Department. She was born and raised in Canton, has been an RN since 2010 and employs workers who are from surrounding areas.
