Stopping to be thankful
Ever get that feeling that life is just whizzing by, like cars on a freeway?
Sometimes in balancing my family and work in Kingfisher with my responsibilities at the Oklahoma Capitol as a state representative, I feel the crush of this. I’m juggling all these balls – meeting the needs of my wife and sons, working to ensure our family business thrives, all while attending to the pressing needs of state government: how to properly fund and oversee transportation, education, healthcare, public safety and all of the other core services on which our state’s citizens depend. It’s easy to get lost in that blur.
