Our family has game, among other talents

We’ve always been competitive and our family has played all sorts of card and other games. We’ve gone through our Pitch, Bridge and Spades phases, then hearts, Texas hold-em and now Blitz. Those games are great when the kitchen table is cleared, but during family and friend get-together our kids have learned other feats. My husband and all the kids can roll their tongues sideways, and curl their tongues, or as my youngest granddaughter calls it, Taco Tongue. They’ve entertained themselves on road trips with Staring and Burping contests, and my all-time favorite, The Quiet game in which the older kids always got the younger ones to yell, “Ouch!”
