How to fix the college football playoff

With the College Football season now officially closed, it’s time to for college football fans to engage in the postseason tradition of second guessing the system. Like clockwork every year, we crown one team, followed by months of debate about how to fix the procedure in place.

The skepticism dates back more than a century, but with the latest retired system being Bowl Championship Series when a combination of polls determined the top two teams that would play in the National Championship Game. The process grew many critiques because it seemed the second-best team in the country was rarely agreed upon in the polls, and even produced a Split National Champion in 2003.
