A father’s rights just doesn’t matter at all

This year there are once again bills before our legislature that deal with abortion.

Last month, pro-life Oklahoman’s took roses to Oklahoma lawmakers to symbolize the sanctity of the unborn.

Legislation by Sen. Joseph Silk, R-Broken Bow, would make abortion a felony crime punishable by life in prison – with no exceptions for victims of rape, incest, or to save a pregnant mother’s life.

The bill, if passed, would repeal any current statutes that regulate abortion, would amend any state law regarding public health and safety by eliminating any reference to abortion being defined as “health services,” and the bill would remove the exception of abortion from the definition of homicide in Oklahoma’s penal code.
