Judith Edwards

Judi was born on February 5, 1943, in Canton, Blaine County, Oklahoma. Judi died on June 3, 2019 in her home at Canton, Oklahoma. She graduated from Canton High School in 1961 and went to Hill Business College in Oklahoma City. After graduation she began employment at Kerr Mc-Kee in Oklahoma City. On June 30, 1962, she married Waylon E. Edwards at the Christian Church in Canton. She was the mother of three children, Mandy, Andy and Cindy.

She is survived by her husband Waylon Edwards, her three children, Mandy Dawn Franks, Andy Alan Edwards, Cindy Danel and her husband John Filoso. Twelve grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who live in Utah and Wyoming. Judi was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved her Savior. She was active in family history and thoroughly enjoyed genealogy work. She was a fabulous cook, loved to laugh, worked puzzles, enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was kind and had a very soft spot in her heart for animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elzon and Louise Carpenter Mayhall and brother Jerry Elzon Mayhall. The Canton Cemetery will be her place of rest.

Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at Canton Cemetery with Bishop David Bliss officiating. Condolences may be made online at
