Glenda Rae Cynthia Ann Teer-Surveyor
Glenda Rae Cynthia Ann Teer-Surveyor was born on May 7, 1976 at Okeene, OK. She left us to be with our Creator on June 4, 2018 at Tucson, AZ. She was born to Harvey “Wano” Surveyor and Mary “Cheyenne” Old Camp. In 1978, she was adopted by Earl and Vi Teer of Springfield, MO.
Glenda loved to do crafts and beadwork, traveling and reading her bible. She also loved to explore new places. Glenda was a free spirit that roamed this beautiful world. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Surveyor, Lee and Christine Marie Old Camp, all of Canton, OK. Survivors include her parents, Earl and Vi Teer; Mary Old Camp and Harvey Surveyor; four children, Donovan Howard of Oklahoma City, OK, Ruth Ann Helt of Moore, OK, Devon Howard of Colorado and Hannah Isabel Marie of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren; two sisters, Jessica Flying Out and Elizabeth Surveyor of both of Oklahoma City, OK; three brothers, Johnny Lee Old Camp and Allen Surveyor both of Oklahoma City, OK and Harley Surveyor of Gage, OK; two adopted brothers, Earl Teer, Jr. of Portland, OR and Brian Teer of Springfield, MO; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and uncles.
Wake services began at 7:00 p.m., Monday evening, June 11, 2018 at the Canton Native American Gym. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the same venue with Reverend George Akeen, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Canton Indian Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Condolences may be made at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.
